Introducing the Nantucket Busk-A-Thon, an all day fundraiser to support the NCMC!

Here’s how the Nantucket Busk-A-Thon works. Grant Sanders has pledged to play from 9 AM to 9 PM and solicit donations to the Nantucket Community Music Center for every song that he plays. Donations will also be accepted on the day of the Busk-A-Thon via Venmo, cash dropped in his guitar case, or fancy credit-card-dip donation machine. T-shirts are on order. Grant is asking musical friends from the Nantucket community to join him at regular intervals throughout the day (A schedule of musicians and times to come!) to allow him to rest his fingers, and to sing or play percussion with them. Participating musicians may also solicit pledges for the event. It’s going to be amazing. Send an email to grant@digsand.com to stay in the loop!

Hey! If you’re a musician who wants to help out and play a song or two (No busking license needed, we have a permit from the town!), head to the Busk-A-Thon website to sign up. You will receive a link to your Busk-A-Thon page after that (allow up to a day for us to set that up and send) so that you can share the event with your friends and solicit pledges!
