Music Industry Insights: 1960s Music Review and the Cruise Ship Entertainment Industry with Ian Motha

In partnership with the Brotherhood of Thieves and Cisco, NCMC is pleased to present Music Industry Insights, a series of programs that highlight various aspects of the music industry.

Ian Motha will present a 1960s Music Review and discuss the Cruise Ship Entertainment Industry.

Ian Motha is a singer/songwriter, self- taught multi-instrumentalist. His career began in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts performing in local establishments, eventually finding his way on stage at the world-famous Whiskey a Go Go in Los Angeles and The Cavern in Liverpool, England.  

He's shared the stage with Greg Hawkes from The Cars, Pete Best (original drummer of The Beatles), James McCartney (Paul's son), and Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork of The Monkees.

Ian also plays the role of Paul in a Beatles band for a cruise line having sailed to South America, Alaska and The Carribean. He performs regularly around the south coast of Mass and all around New England. 

His original music has been featured on college radio stations across the country notably the former WBRU of Providence, Rhode Island.
