Recorder Ensemble

The perfect introduction to wind instruments; the Recorder Ensemble is a fun, easy way to start playing an instrument and perform as a group. Students develop a foundation in note reading and embouchure.

Brass Ensemble

13-18 Years, Adult

The Brass Ensemble is a chamber music ensemble that meets weekly for rehearsals. It is open to all brass players and focuses on brass performance techniques. Students will gain experience by exploring repertoire composed and/or arranged specifically for large brass. Excerpts from orchestral repertoire, as well as chamber music — ranging from traditional brass quintet to instrument choirs — are also studied. With a focus on performance experience, the session culminates with a concert.

Wind Ensemble

10-18 Years, Adult

Similar to Brass Ensemble, the Wind Ensemble students focus on performance and pieces written to highlight  the unique musical properties of wind instruments. Each session culminates in a concert  performance.
